A guide to Gannon's Easter break hours and operations schedule

To assist our campus communities in preparing for the Easter holiday and break April 2-5, we have gathered the adjusted hours and operations below on behalf of various Erie campus departments and services for those who will remain on campus or might need access to campus resources during this timeframe. There will be no classes during this time, and Gannon is providing employee holidays on April 2 and 5. The Ruskin Campus will be closed during this time.

ACADEMIC BUILDINGS

Zurn Science Center will be open for Good Friday and Easter Mass. All other academic buildings will be locked beginning the evening of Thursday, April 1 through the morning of Tuesday, April 6.

FRESH CAFÉ

Fresh Café will be closed April 2-5. All normal hours will resume on Tuesday, April 6.

GANNON PRESS & MAILROOM

The Gannon Press and Mailroom will be closed on Friday, April 2 and Monday, April 5 in accordance with the University holiday. For any additional questions or to make arrangements for any special shipments, please email Matt Blumer at Blumer002@gannon.edu.

HEALTH AND COUNSELING CENTER

The Health and Counseling Center will be closed April 2-5 for the Easter holiday. Please use the following resources during this time:
Medical emergencies: Contact Gannon Police & Safety at 814-871-7777 and they will contact emergency medical services.
Non-urgent medical concerns: Email hlthcoun@gannon.edu and you will be contacted during regular business hours.
Mental health emergencies: contact Crisis Services at 814-456-2014 or go directly to the ER.
Non-urgent mental health concerns: Email counseling@gannon.edu and you will be contacted during regular business hours.

ITS HELPDESK

The ITS Help Desk will have technicians available to respond to support requests through our ticketing system Friday, April 2 through Monday, April 5. You can also call the Help Desk and talk to our after-hours support service.

KNIGHT CLUB

The Knight Club will be closed April 2-5. All normal hours will resume on Tuesday, April 6.

KNIGHT WATCH VAN

Students may request transportation services from the Knight Watch van through April 1. This service will not be available April 2-5. It will resume on April 6.

METZ DINING

All retail locations will be closed Friday, April 2 – Monday, April 5 and will reopen Tuesday, April 6 with regular hours of operation.

Easter Sunday Menu and Giveaways
-All students will receive an easter egg filled with candy from Chante.
-All students can enter “guess how many jellybeans are in the container.” The winner will win a basket of chocolates and sweets from Metz.

Brunch:
-Vegetable Frittata, Carved Ham, Sweet Potato Casserole, Egg & Cheese Muffin Sandwich, Sautéed Zucchini

Dinner:
-Stuffed Chicken Breast, BBQ Brisket, Twice Baked Potatoes, Basil Fettuccine, Green Beans, Corn
-Assorted Pizzas, Warm Pie and Ice Cream served at Villa Toscana for dinner

NASH LIBRARY & STUDENT LEARNING COMMONS

Closed for Easter break beginning at 12 a.m. on Thursday, April 1. It will reopen and resume normal hours at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6.

The STEM Center and Writing & Research Center will also be closed April 2-5 for both in-person and virtual appointments. They will re-open on April 6.

RECREATION AND WELLNESS CENTER

Adjusted hours over Easter break are as follows:
April 1 | 6 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. (Regular Hours)
April 2-3 | 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  Open Swim: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
April 4 | Closed for Easter
April 5 | 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  Open Swim: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
April 6 | 6 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. (Regular Hours)

RESIDENCE LIFE

Please take a quick moment to let us know your plans for Easter Break and complete this one minute Easter Break Survey. 

You are not required to complete this survey in order to remain on campus over the break. However, this information is helpful to those planning accommodations for our students over the long weekend.

STORE U-KNIGHTED PANTRY

The Store U-Knighted Pantry will be open for any and all students. To access the Pantry, please email abatta001@gannon.edu to setup an appointment.

STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER

The Student Success Center will suspend in-person and virtual assistance during Easter break. Appointments are encouraged and walk-ins are welcome before and after the break. To schedule an appointment during the spring semester, please stop by or email:
