A guide to hours and operations for finals week and summer break

As we enter finals week and prepare for the summer break, we have gathered the hours and operations for various campus services and resources that will be in effect for these timeframes.

CAMPUS MISSION & MINISTRY
The Offices of Mission & Ministry, Learning Abroad, as well as Community and Government Relations will be open the following hours during finals week and summer break:
Mon. – Fri. 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Finals week Mass times are as scheduled below:
Sun. May 2 10 a.m. & 8 p.m. Mary, Seat of Wisdom Chapel (Blessing of Brains at each)

Fresh Café will be open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for finals week. It will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the summer.
GANNON BOOKSTORE
Commencement Weekend Pop-Up Store:
The Bookstore will have a pop-up location available 3-8 p.m. on Saturday, May 8 in Yehl Ballroom for Commencement Weekend.
Bookstore Summer Hours of Operation:
Mon. – Fri. 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Sat. – Sun. Closed
GANNON PRESS & MAILROOM
The Press and Mailroom will be open regular business hours through finals week for package pickups, mailing services and print orders:
Mon. – Fri. 10 a.m. - noon & 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

HEALTH & COUNSELING CENTER
Health & Counseling is open during finals week and throughout the summer the following hours:
Mon. – Fri. 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Health Center:
All appointments during this time need to be scheduled in advance. To schedule an appointment with a nurse or the nurse practitioner, call 814-871-7622 or email hlthcoun@gannon.edu. Please include your name, DOB, phone number where you can be reached and someone will return your message during normal business hours to determine an appointment time if indicated.
Counseling Center:
All appointments during this time need to be scheduled in advance. To initiate counseling services, please email counseling@gannon.edu to schedule an appointment. In the event of a mental health emergency during office hours, walk-ins are accepted.
Please use the following resources during non-business hours:
Medical emergencies: Contact Gannon Police & Safety at 814-871-7777 and they will contact emergency medical services.
Mental health emergencies: Contact Crisis Services at 814-456-2014 or go directly to the ER.
Non-urgent medical concerns: Email hlthcoun@gannon.edu and you will be contacted during regular business hours.
Non-urgent mental health concerns: Email counseling@gannon.edu and you will be contacted during regular business hours.
ITS HELP DESK
The ITS Help Desk will be open normal hours during finals week. Summer hours are as follows:

KNIGHT CLUB
The Knight Club will be open normal hours through Monday, May 3. It will be closed throughout the summer and will re-open for the fall semester.
KNIGHT WATCH VAN
Students may request transportation services from the Knight Watch van through 1 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4. It will resume after the start of the fall semester.
METZ DINING
Please see below for hours of operation for on-campus dining locations during finals week. Summer dining accommodations will be shared in a future update.
Doc’s Landing closes at 5 p.m.; and Knight’s Cove closes at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 30.
Intermetzo will be open regular hours on Monday and hours will be determined for Tuesday-Friday.
Urban Brew will be open 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Monday and hours will be determined for Tuesday-Friday.
Beyer Cafeteria is open the following hours during finals week:
Sat. 11:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Sun. 11:00 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Mon.-Thurs 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Fri. 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Ala carte pricing and takeout out will be available breakfast, lunch and dinner.
NASH LIBRARY & STUDENT LEARNING COMMONS
Finals week hours for the Nash Library & Student Learning Commons are as follows:
Sun. 10 a.m. – 12 a.m.
Mon.-Wed. 7:30 a.m. – 12 a.m.
Thurs. 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Fri. 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Sat. Closed
Summer hours are as follows:
Mon. – Thurs. 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Fri. 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Sat. – Sun. Closed

RECREATION & WELLNESS CENTER
The Recreation & Wellness Center will follow standard business hours Mon. – Thurs. of finals week. It will close early at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 7.
Summer hours will begin on Saturday, May 9 and are as follows:
Mon. – Fri. 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Sat. – Sun. 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Pool hours will be posted when it is re-opened. All hours of operation and closed dates are subject to change. Any updates will be communicated through social media and posted on Instagram @gannon.rwc.
RESIDENCE LIFE
The Office of Residence Life has provided instruction to residents regarding move-out dates, times and procedures. Please see your Gannon email for important information specific to your area. A few highlights are provided below:
- 24-hour quite hours are in effect through 5 p.m. on Friday, May 7.
- Move-out for non-graduating residents is 24-hours after their last final and no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, May 7.
- Move-out for residents graduating at commencement is 12 p.m. on Sunday, May 9.
- Residents are permitted 2 family members in the residence halls to assist with move-out. All COVID-19 guidelines must be followed, including masks at all times. Please coordinate with your roommates in advance to keep family pods separate and distanced as much as possible.
- For questions regarding your specific move-out timeline and instruction, email reslife@gannon.edu.
STORE U-KNIGHTED PANTRY
The Store U-Knighted Pantry is open for any and all students. To access the Pantry, please email abatta001@gannon.edu to setup an appointment. However, if you need emergency access, please call (814) 392-4655.
WALDRON CAMPUS CENTER
The building will be open during finals week to access printers, dining and study spaces as scheduled below:
Sat. – Sun. 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Mon. – Fri. 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.
The Power Room will remain open until 2 a.m. Mon. – Thurs.; it will close at 11 p.m. on Friday.
Summer hours will begin on Monday, May 10 and are as follows:
Mon. – Fri. 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sat. – Sun. Closed
