A guide to Gannon's Thanksgiving Break hours and operations schedule

A reminder to our campus communities:

The Thanksgiving holiday break is Nov. 24-28, during which time there will be no classes. Employees will be off Nov. 25-26 and the university will be closed these days.

Below are adjusted hours and operations on behalf of our Ruskin Campus and various Erie campus departments for those who will remain on campus or might need access to campus resources during this timeframe.

RUSKIN CAMPUS
Ruskin Campus will be closed to studentsfor the Thanksgiving break, Nov. 24-28.
The Administration building will be open to employees from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, and closed Nov. 25-26.
The Fitness Center will be closed Nov. 24-28.

ACADEMIC BUILDINGS
Academic buildings will be closed Nov. 24-28, with the exception of Palumbo Academic Center and the Waldron Campus Center, which will remain open. Please see below for Waldron hours.


BOOKSTORE
The Bookstore will be open from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Nov 22-24. It will be closed on Nov 25-28 for Thanksgiving and will reopen with normal business hours on Monday, Nov. 29. The Gannon Bookstore website is always open at Gannonshop.com.


CAMPUS MISSION & MINISTRY
Nov. 25-28 The Mission and Ministry Office will follow the university Thanksgiving break and be closed.

Mary, Seat of Wisdom Chapel
Nov. 24-27 No Masses or Adoration scheduled
Nov. 28 Only 8 p.m. Mass; there will be no morning Mass.


FRESH CAFÉ
Fresh Café will be closed Nov. 23-28. All normal hours will resume on Monday, Nov. 29.


GANNON PRESS & MAILROOM
The Gannon Press and Mailroom will be open normal business hours Nov. 22-23 and will be open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 24. Please ensure all mail is to the mailroom by noon on Nov. 24 to allow for processing. For any additional questions or to make arrangements for any special shipments, please email Matt Blumer at Blumer002@gannon.edu, prior to close of business on Nov. 24.


HEALTH AND COUNSELING CENTER
The Health and Counseling Center will be open regular hours Nov. 22-24. It will be closed on Nov. 25-26 and reopen on Nov. 29. Please use the following resources during this time:
Medical emergencies: Contact Gannon Police & Safety at 814-871-7777 and they will contact emergency medical services.
Non-urgent medical concerns: Email hlthcoun@gannon.edu and you will be contacted during regular business hours.
Mental health emergencies: Contact Crisis Services at 814-456-2014 or go directly to the ER.
Non-urgent mental health concerns: Email counseling@gannon.edu and you will be contacted during regular business hours.


ITS HELPDESK
The ITS Help Desk will have technicians available in the office for walk-in support, phone support, Zoom support requests from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 22-24. The office will be closed on Nov. 25-26.
Technicians will be available for walk-in support at the Technology Support Center in Nash Library from 3 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 28. Telephone support is available at any time using the number below.

KNIGHT CLUB
The Knight Club will be closed Nov. 23-28. All normal hours will resume on Monday, Nov. 29.


KNIGHT WATCH VAN
Students may request transportation services from the Knight Watch van until 1 a.m. Nov. 22. It will then be out of service until Sunday, Nov. 28 at 7 p.m.


METZ DINING
Urban Brew – Will close at 3 p.m. on Nov. 23 and will reopen on Nov. 29 with regular hours of operation.

InterMetzo – Will close at 2 p.m. on Nov. 23 and will reopen on Nov. 29 with regular hours of operation.

Doc’s Landing – Will close at 3 p.m. on Nov. 23 and will Nov. 29 with regular hours of operation.

Beyer Hall Cafeteria – Will close at 1:45 p.m. on Nov. 23 and will reopen on Nov. 28 for dinner service at 4:30 p.m.


NASH LIBRARY & STUDENT LEARNING COMMONS
Will reopen and resume normal hours at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28.
Nov. 23 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Nov. 24 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Nov. 25-27 Closed

RECREATION AND WELLNESS CENTER
Adjusted hours over Thanksgiving Break are as follows:
Nov. 23 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Nov. 24 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Nov. 25-26 Closed
Nov. 27 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Nov. 28 12 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

RESIDENCE LIFE
Residence Halls close at 5 p.m. on Nov. 23 and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Nov. 28.

The Office of Residence Life will be open for normal operation Nov 23-24. Outside normal business hours and on Nov. 25-26, on-call support is available for residential students by calling 814-871-7000 and asking for the RD on call.


STORE U-KNIGHTED PANTRY
The Store U-Knighted Pantry is available for any and all students. To access the Pantry, please email abatta001@gannon.edu to setup an appointment.


STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER
The Student Success Center is open regular hours (from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) for in-person and virtual assistance Nov. 22-23. It will be closed Nov. 24-26. Virtual advising is available by appointment only on Nov. 24. To schedule an appointment please stop by or email:



WALDRON CAMPUS CENTER
Waldron will remain open with the following adjusted hours:
