Complete the Employee COVID-19 Acknowledgment on Feb. 9

Posted: February 2, 2021

Dear Colleagues,

As valued members of our Gannon community, we are excited and grateful to welcome you back for the spring semester from what we hope was a restful and invigorating winter break.

We have learned a great deal from the fall semester regarding the processes and protocols in place that allowed us to keep our campuses open and deliver on our promise of a valuable educational experience for our students. Because of this experience, we understand that the full commitment of every employee to maintain diligence in following these protocols will be critical to our success this the spring semester.

To hold ourselves and others accountable for following Gannon’s health and safety standards, all employees will be required to complete the Employee Acknowledgment of Mutual Respect and Responsibility Regarding Covid-19. These standards are a continuation of what was introduced in the fall semester.

Beginning at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9, you will be asked to accept this COVID-19 Acknowledgment as part of Gannon University’s Terms of Use.

We are proud of our employees and want to make sure we sustain our commitment to keeping each other safe. This is a required acknowledgment. Those who do not accept this acknowledgment will be contacted by Human Resources. You will also not be able to access Gannon applications until you accept this acknowledgment. This includes applications such as email, Office, Blackboard, and more.

This measure – in conjunction with the COVID-19 protocols and safety guidelines in place at the University – will ensure we are all doing our part to keep our Gannon community safe and healthy during the months ahead.
