New details for Tuesday's vaccine clinic
Posted: February 12, 2021
We want to provide an update about Tuesday’s vaccine clinic, which we are operating with our partners at LECOM.
About 200 doses will be distributed Tuesday, from noon to about 3:30 p.m.
Anyone who previously had an appointment scheduled for Feb. 16 will still be receiving their vaccine dose that day, but the time of their appointment might change. An email will be sent to those individuals sometime over the weekend or early Monday morning with their specific appointment information. Others will be invited by email to receive their vaccine and will be given a time.
Please continue to monitor your email for further updates.
We are continuing to vaccinate those in the state’s Phase 1A group. As was the case with the Feb. 9 clinic, we are not receiving quite as many doses of vaccine as originally planned. Instead of 300, we had enough for about 190 at the last clinic. The 200 on tap for Feb. 16 is less than the 300 we were told initially.
We appreciate the patience everyone is displaying as we wrestle with this dynamic situation. Thank you.
We are asking that if you signed up for our clinic and have since received a vaccine at another location, please let us know so that we can cancel your appointment and make room for someone else.
There will be no clinic on Tuesday, Feb. 23, because of a prior scheduling conflict.
There will be a clinic on March 2. Details about that clinic and how to register for it are still being developed.
