Reopening plans announced for bookstore, Nash Library, mailroom

Gannon’s Bookstore has reopened with modified hours and operations to facilitate a safe and convenient way for students to purchase and pick up books in preparation for the start of the semester.
As of July 29, the bookstore will be open during the below dates and times. Please note these hours are reserved only for ordering and picking up books.
July 29 - 31 | 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (closed Saturday and Sunday)
Aug. 3 - 7 | 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Aug. 8 - 9 | 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Aug. 10 - 13 | 7:45 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Aug. 14 | 7:45 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Aug. 15 | 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Students are encouraged to order all course material from the bookstore online via Gannonshop.com. Delivery and in-store pickup are both available, but occupancy is greatly reduced at the bookstore to accommodate for social distancing and other safety requirements.
Students can also coordinate with the bookstore to have orders delivered directly to their dorm rooms before move-in. In-store pickup orders completed before Aug. 1 for students living on campus will be delivered directly to dorm rooms before Aug. 4. In-store pickup orders completed after Aug. 1 must be picked up in the store.
Students who are quarantined on campus and need specific items from the bookstore can contact the bookstore directly to have arrangements made for no-contact delivery.
The bookstore will remain closed to general merchandise shopping until Aug. 12 as we prepare to safely reopen for all standard services. However, our Gannon Bookstore personnel are planning to have a pop-up shop at our campus dormitories during move-in days, where students and others who are present can purchase Gannon merchandise.

Other Facility Openings
Beyer Cafeteria
Beyer Cafeteria will have regular hours scheduled beginning Aug. 4. Hours will be from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday through Saturday.
Doc’s Landing
Monday – Friday | 7:15 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday | 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Nash Library
The Nash Library will reopen Aug. 3 with specific hours to be determined. Please refer to our Modified Operations webpage for the most up-to-date information.
Normal operating hours (7:30 a.m. to midnight) will resume on Aug. 10.
Gannon Press and Distribution
The Press and Distribution is currently open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday for package pickups, mailing services and print orders.Beginning Aug. 3, Press and Distribution will have new hours of from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
