A guide to hours and operations for spring return

To assist students and employees with preparing for their return throughout the next two weeks, we have gathered the hours and operations for various campus services and resources that are currently in effect and those that will go into place with the start of the semester on Jan. 25

Please continue to monitor your email and update.gannon.edu for any changes and for any additional information that may be shared.

Campus Mission & Ministry
Campus Mission & Ministry Office is open during the following days and hours:
Jan. 11-22        9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Jan. 25             Normal operating hours will resume: Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Gannon Campus Ministry

Center for Advanced Engineering
Standard hours for the semester will resume on Jan. 25 and are as follows:
Mon. – Fri.      7 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Center for Business Ingenuity
Standard hours for the semester will resume on Jan. 25 and are as follows:
Mon. – Thurs. 7 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Fri.                  7 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Center for Communication and the Arts
Standard hours for the semester will resume on Jan. 25 and are as follows:
Mon. – Fri.      7 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Please use the entrance on Peach Street after 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Thursday and Friday.

Fresh Café
Fresh Café will be closed through Jan. 24 and will re-open at 11 a.m. on Jan. 25.

Gannon Bookstore & Textbook Orders
Order Your Textbooks Online: All course materials ordered from the bookstore must be completed online at Gannonshop.com. Shipment and in-store pickup are both available, but occupancy is limited to allow for social distancing and other safety measures.

Gannon Press & Mailroom 
The Press and Mailroom will be open the following hours for package pickups, mailing services and print orders through Jan. 24:
Mon. – Fri.     8 a.m. - noon & 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. 

Beginning Jan. 25, normal business hours will resume:
Mon. – Fri.      10 a.m. – noon & 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

To set up a department mailbox that will be accessible during hours of operations for Palumbo Academic Center, please contact Darlene Hess (hess009@gannon.edu) to make arrangements. Health & Counseling 
Health & Counseling is open as outlined below:
Mon. – Fri.     8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Due to COVID-19 and for the well-being of all patients and employees, walk-ins are not accepted during this time. Please call 814-871-7622 or email hlthcoun@gannon.edu for physical health concerns and counseling@gannon.edu for mental health concerns. 

If a student is experiencing a medical emergency, contact Police and safety at 814-871-7000. If a student has a non-urgent medical concern, call the Health Center at 814-871-7622 and leave a message or email hlthcoun@gannon.edu and you will be contacted during regular business hours.

ITS Help Desk
The ITS Help Desk will be available for virtual walk-in support via Zoom, as well as phone support during the hours below through Jan. 24:
Mon. – Fri.     8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Spring semester hours will take effect beginning Jan. 25 and are as follows:
Mon. – Thurs. 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Fri.                  8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 
Sat.                  12 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. 
Sun.                 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Knight Club
The Knight Club will be closed through Jan. 24 and will re-open at 7 p.m. on Jan. 25.

Knight Watch Van
The Knight Watch Van service is anticipated to resume the week of Feb. 1. 

Metz Dining
Doc’s Landing is closed until Jan. 25. It will re-open along with all other dining locations under normal business hours on Jan. 25. 

Beyer Cafeteria is open the following hours:
Mon. – Sun.    11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Ala carte pricing will be available and only cash will be accepted until spring semester meal plans resume for dinner on Wednesday, Jan. 20.

Morosky Academic Center
Standard hours for the semester will resume on Jan. 25 and are as follows:
Mon. – Fri.      7 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Nash Library & Student Learning Commons
Hours for the Nash Library & Student Learning Commons through Jan. 24 are as follows:
Mon. – Fri.     9 a.m. – 5 p.m. 

Hours for the spring semester will resume Jan. 25 and are as follows:
Sun.                 10 a.m. – 12 a.m.
Mon.-Thurs.    7:30 a.m. – 12 a.m.
Fri.                  7:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Sat.                  10 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Tutoring from the STEM Center and Writing & Research Center will be available in-person and virtually. Click here to check availability and book an appointment. 

Students and faculty can click here and select “Get Research Help” on the library homepage to book a research consultation with a reference librarian.

The Sixth Street entrance may be used to enter the building anytime during the library’s hours of operation. The Seventh Street entrance will be open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Mon.- Fri.  

All current COVID-19 protocols (ID and temperature checks, mask requirements, visitor restrictions, etc.) will remain in force.

Palumbo Academic Center
The Palumbo Academic Center will be open for access to printers, study spaces, and the Press and Mailroom during the following hours through Jan. 24, except for University holidays:
Mon. – Fri.     7 a.m. – 5 p.m. 

Standard hours for the semester will resume on Jan. 25 and are as follows:
Mon. – Fri.      7 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Recreation & Wellness Center
The hours for the Recreation & Wellness Center through Jan. 24 are as follows:
Mon. – Wed.   8 a.m. – 8 p.m. 
Thurs. & Fri.   8 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Sat. & Sun.      8 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Hours for the spring semester, beginning Jan. 25, are as follows:
Mon. – Fri.      6 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.
Sat. & Sun.      8 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Store U-Knighted Pantry
The Store U-Knighted Pantry is open for any and all students. To access the Pantry, please email abatta001@gannon.edu to setup an appointment. However, if you need emergency access, please call (814) 392-4655.

Student Success Center
The Student Success Center will offer in-person as well as virtual assistance through Jan. 15. Appointments are encouraged and walk-ins are welcome through this date during the days and times outlined below.

Beginning Jan. 19, the Student Success Center will be available for both in-person and virtual meetings the following times:

Waldron Campus Center
Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 19, traffic will resume using the pattern followed in the fall semester, flowing north to south. Please use entrances on AJ’s Way, Sixth or Peach Streets. The main building entrance will be used for exiting only.

The building will continue to be open for students to access printers, dining and study spaces over the extended break as scheduled below. All current COVID-19 protocols will remain in effect.

Jan. 23-24               9 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Jan. 25                    7 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Zurn Science Center
